About

The ARTISTS FORMERLY KNOWN AS WOMEN share a long history of activist, feminist art. We are a six-person collective of artists who collaborate on social/political/environmental works. For over three years, we have been working together researching water issues. Our goal is to create a dialog about the issues of water privatization and consumption, and the effects of current practices of water usage on the land and on our future. Our group is: Nancy Buchanan, Deborah Krall, Sheila Pinkel, Suzanne Siegel, Laura Silagi, and Karen Schwenkmeyer.

Our website is www.whosewater.org
